Methods
A common way of repairing your lawn is by installing new sod.
For lawns that have few weeds, but the grass is not healthy, we may use a sod cutter to remove the existing lawn. Then we may lay down a couple of inches of soil, even out the ground surface, and lay down new soil.
You may have a lawn with widespread weeds. In this case we may till the lawn area, to remove the weeds, and expose the weeds roots to the sun. We wait a few days for the weed roots to dry up and die. Then we lay down new soil, even out the ground surface, and lay down new soil.
For very uneven yards, we remove the existing vegetation, bring in a few cubic yards of soil to even out the surface, then we lay down new sod.
There maybe times when we have to use a combination of these strategies. The result is always the same, a beautiful, luscious, healthy lawn.
Less involved repairs can also be done.
